Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, a Wind Horse representative will greet you and facilitate your transfer to your hotel. The rest of the Evening is at leisure.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
You will start the day with a visit to Pashupatinath temple. Pashupatinath temple is situated on the banks of the Bagmati river and is one of the most revered Hindu temples in Nepal. While around the Pashupatinath area, you will also visit the Guheshwori temple, a Shakti Pheet dedicated to Adi Shakti.
After the visit, you will continue a short distance north to Boudhanath Stupa. Boudanath Stupa is one of the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal and also a World Heritage Site. The rest of the day is free for leisure.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, you will head off towards the cable car station at Thankot, where you’ll take the cable car to Chandragiri hills. Situated at 2551m, the hilltop of Chandragiri offers uninterrupted 180-degree views of Eastern Himalayas.
On the return journey visit the Swayambhunath Stupa. Swayambhunath Temple, often referred to as the Monkey Temple, offers a spiritual journey into one of the oldest and most revered stupas in the valley.
Following the visit , you will drive to the city center to visit the Kathmandu Durbar square. Kathmandu Durbar Square is rich with its intricate wood carving and its history. You will explore the area around the former palace of the kings of Nepal, viewing various temples and monuments.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
Optional: While you are in Kathmandu you also have the option to take the Mountain flight (Everest experience flight) with extra cost.
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
