Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, a Wind Horse representative will greet you and facilitate your transfer to your hotel. The rest of the Evening is at leisure. 

Overnight in Kathmandu.

Following breakfast, you will embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. Begin by driving to Pashupatinath temple. While around the Pashupatinath area, you will also visit the Guheshwori temple, a Shakti Pheet dedicated to Adi Shakti.

Next, drive a short distance north towards the Boudhanath. Boudanath Stupa is one of the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal and also a World Heritage Site.

After the visit, you will drive to the Budhanilkantha temple also known as Jalanarayan. Situated at the base of the Shivapuri hills is a remarkable huge statue of Lord Vishnu reclining on a bed of coiled snakes.

Following the visit, you will drive to the city center to visit the Kathmandu Durbar square. Kathmandu Durbar Square is rich with its intricate wood carving and its history. You will explore the area around the former palace of the kings of Nepal, viewing various temples and monuments.

The drive to Pokhara is a picturesque journey that unveils the stunning beauty of the Nepalese countryside.

On the way you have the option to visit the Manakamana Temple, dedicated to goddess Bhagawati, an incarnation of goddess Parvati, the holy goddess of aspirations or Goddess of fulfilling wishes. You can reach the temple by taking a cable car ride at your own cost. 

Overnight in Pokhara.

Note: The drive to Pokhara usually takes around 6-7 hours, but it may take 7-10 hrs depending on traffic and the road condition. Option is also available to fly to Pokhara with an additional cost.

This morning, you’ll embark on an excursion tour to Sarangkot, located west of the old Pokhara bazaar. Sarangkot is renowned for its stunning sunrise views over the Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, and other majestic peaks of the Himalayas.

After enjoying the incredible sunrise view, you will then return to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you will visi t Bindyabshini temple, Taal Barahi temple, the Mahadev statue at Pumdikot, Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, and the evening is free to stroll around the lakeside area. 

Overnight in Pokhara.

Retrace your drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, check into your hotel, you’ll have the rest of afternoon free.

Transfer to the airport in time for your departure flight homewards.
